The Nuevo León Chamber of the Transformation Industry (CAINTRA) recognizes the relevance of the initiatives presented regarding the General Water Law and the reform to the National Water Law, promoted by the President of the Republic, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, together with the National Water Commission (CONAGUA).

We believe that these proposals represent an important step towards the construction of a more equitable, transparent and sustainable regulatory framework for the management of this fundamental resource for the country's economic and social development.

The Chamber appreciates that in this process, open and constructive dialogue with the different productive sectors has been privileged, as this strengthens the co-responsibility between government, industry and society in the definition of public policies on water issues.

At CAINTRA, we will continue to prioritize water efficiency and reuse and promote this culture among the more than 5,000 members represented by the Chamber through training provided by the Environmental Protection Institute (IPA).

We reaffirm our commitment to continue collaborating in the construction of solutions that guarantee access to and efficient use of water for the benefit of the community and the future of Mexico.
