    - The number of workers indicator showed a decrease from 47 points in September to 45.4 in October, the lowest figure so far this year.

    - The "new orders" indicator was at 46.3 points, showing an advance from 43 a month earlier. The "physical production volume" index also advanced to 46.4 points.

The October results of CAINTRA's Economic Expectations Survey show that Nuevo Leon's manufacturing sector continues to contract in all indicators. Although there was an improvement during the month, it is not enough to surpass the 50-point threshold.

Among the indicators, the one related to "new orders" is at 46.3 points, up from 43 a month earlier. The "physical production volume" index also advanced to 46.4 points. However, both items do not exceed the 50-point expansion barrier.

Along the same lines are "imports" and "capacity utilized", which grew from one month to the next, but without exceeding 50 points. The latter stands out for an advance that brings capacity utilized up to 48 points, the highest figure presented in the year.

Unlike the previous ones, the indicator for the number of workers presented a decrease, going from 47 points in September to 45.4 in October, the lowest figure so far this year. In the same situation are exports, which also fell to 42.5 points.

Similarly, the proportion of companies that reported having invested in machinery or equipment stood at 23%, a figure very similar to that of the previous month and without rebounding.

Regarding the factors that hindered companies during the month of October, the "political landscape" was again positioned as the most mentioned option by 43.7% of respondents. This was followed by "weak economic activity" with 42% of the responses and a drop of 6 percentage points compared to the previous month.

Among the items, the increase in "transportation logistics" stands out, mentioned by 17.6% of the respondents.
