Banorte and CAINTRA sign a PyME financing alliance
October 1, 2026
Banorte and the Chamber of the Industry of Transformation of Nuevo León (CAINTRA) signed a strategic alliance to bring integrated financial solutions closer to more than 5,000 affiliated companies, with a special emphasis on SME credit, liquidity, and business growth in the region.
The agreement aims to expand the range of financing options for SMEs with competitive rates, agile processes, and specialized advice to identify the product that best suits each business. It also includes financial education and support measures to enable more companies to access formal credit and build a solid credit history.
Jorge H. Santos Reyna, President of CAINTRA Nuevo León, emphasized that this agreement is part of a strategic route:
"What we are signing today is part of a long-term strategy. Banorte becomes the fourth financial institution with which the Chamber is consolidating an alliance this year, as part of a route that we aspire to provide the best financial conditions for SMEs."
And he added:
"For a PYME, having timely liquidity can mean fulfilling an order, purchasing inventory, investing in equipment, sustaining jobs, or seizing a growth opportunity."
• Commercial credit with preferential rates and no opening fees.
• Reduction of the interest rate on current debts by bringing debt from other institutions.
• Factoring in its various forms to convert receivables into immediate liquidity.
• Financial advice and education for informed decision-making.
Regarding this, Santos Reyna explained:
Starting today, companies affiliated with CAINTRA will be able to access a range of solutions designed for different stages of their operations: commercial credit with preferential rates, no opening fee, and a reduced rate on current debts when bringing debt from other institutions.
"With Banorte on board, we will seek to explore factoring options in their various forms, a tool that allows companies to convert their accounts receivable into immediate liquidity and strengthen their cash flow."
Jorge Zenteno, Deputy General Director of PyME Banking at Banorte, stated:
"The companies affiliated with CAINTRA play a fundamental role in generating employment, investment, and industrial development. Their contribution strengthens the competitiveness of Nuevo León and consolidates Mexico as one of the world's leading manufacturing powers. At Banorte, we want to accompany them every step of the way, providing them with financial tools that allow them to achieve their goals."

The President of CAINTRA emphasized that this alliance adds to the collaboration that the Chamber has already signed with Nacional Financiera (NAFIN) as part of the Mexico Plan; and highlights the positive impact it will have on the industry.
"It is part of the synergy we have built with Nacional Financiera (NAFIN), with whom we have already signed a collaboration agreement, and with which we are adding our efforts to the Plan México to promote the financing and development of the country's businesses."
"A quick response on credit can be the difference between winning or letting a customer go."
"If we want our companies to continue growing, innovating, creating jobs, and integrating into more sophisticated value chains, we need to build financial solutions that are closer, more competitive, and aligned with their reality."
"When a company adopts better financial tools, it strengthens its operations, its workers, its suppliers, its customers, and the entire industry in Nuevo León."
