With unprecedented participation and a record-breaking offering of activities, Expo PyME 2026 solidified its position as the largest edition in the history of this business gathering organized by CAINTRA and as the only comprehensive expo in the country focused on small and medium-sized enterprises. For three days, thousands of SMEs found business opportunities, training, financing, and solutions in a single space to strengthen their companies.

From September 8 to 10, CINTERMEX hosted an edition that grew in scope and content, bringing together over 16,500 visitors, 165 booths, and top-tier business training conferences and panels, once again placing SMEs at the center of the opportunities generated by Nuevo León's industry.

    Business Networking, opportunities that connect

Over 100 large companies participated with more than 1,800 purchasing requirements, achieving over 3,100 business appointments and more than 2,500 rapid business-to-business (B2B) linkages; a record of over 5,600 effective meetings where SMEs had direct access to purchasing decision-makers, generating contacts and commercial opportunities to join their value chains.

The presence of more than 15 companies from other states in the country and even from abroad contributed to expanding the reach of this networking exercise and generating greater connection opportunities between SMEs and anchor companies.

Business training, leadership, and top-tier knowledge

Business Training was one of the core components of Expo PyME 2026, featuring 80 free lectures and workshops aimed at entrepreneurs and business owners. The program covered current topics such as Artificial Intelligence, digital marketing, financing, innovation, and business transformation, with tools designed to strengthen both the operations and strategy of small and medium-sized enterprises.

One of the great hallmarks of this edition was the opportunity to bring together in the same space five of the country's leading business leaders, who shared their experiences, knowledge, and vision with SMEs. The agenda was complemented by national and international specialists and speakers, fostering an exchange of ideas and perspectives that enriched the participants' experience and allowed them to discover new tools to strengthen their businesses.

For the first time, there was an SAT module that provided nearly 1,000 services to both business owners and the general public to facilitate procedures with this agency. There was also an area to provide training to more than 150 students who are doing their professional internships in various companies, helping them to be ready to join the workforce.

    Financing, more options to grow

For the first time, Expo PyME brought together 11 banking institutions to bring financing alternatives to small and medium-sized enterprises and facilitate access to information for better decision-making. Some of these institutions already have agreements with CAINTRA, such as Banregio, NAFIN, and Afirme, the latter signed during the expo's activities.
