As part of Expo Pyme Monterrey 2026, the Chamber of the Transformation Industry of Nuevo León (CAINTRA Nuevo León) and Afirme Banco signed a collaboration agreement allowing the nearly 4,500 small and medium-sized enterprises affiliated with the business organization to access financial offers with preferential terms.

With this agreement, Afirme becomes the third financial institution with which CAINTRA has consolidated an alliance this year, as part of a path that aims to add new options so that companies can find solutions tailored to their different stages of development.

As part of the agreement, CAINTRA members will be able to access commercial credit with preferential rates, terms of up to 60 months, and no opening fee, as well as leasing with cash flow evaluation for amounts of up to 5 million pesos, intended for needs such as equipment, transportation, or machinery renewal. The offer also includes factoring to obtain immediate liquidity without generating debt, differentiated conditions for affiliates, and a commitment to a preferential 48-hour response time for SME credit applications with a complete file.

We know well what SMEs experience when they look for financing. Many have viable projects and prospective clients, but when knocking on a bank's door, they encounter demands for collateral that they cannot always cover, a lack of supporting credit history, or bureaucratic procedures and approval times that do not keep pace with their operations. The result is that a loan that could have triggered growth ends up arriving late, or simply does not arrive at all. This alliance with Afirme was born precisely to bring that financing closer and make it more accessible, emphasized Jorge Santos Reyna, president of CAINTRA.

With the slogan of being the bank for SMEs, Afirme Banco raises its hand to act as the financial catalyst the region demands. We want to ensure that resources reach this engine of the economy that SMEs represent, which accounts for 42 percent of GDP, in a strategic way, transforming financing into formal jobs, infrastructure, and competitiveness for the region, stated Alejandro Garay Espinosa, Deputy Managing Director of Business at Afirme Grupo Financiero.

He added that by combining CAINTRA’s industry expertise and representation with Afirme’s stability, flexibility, and financial products, “we are creating an ecosystem of unprecedented growth” for 85 percent of the chamber’s members, who are part of the SME sector in Nuevo León, which in turn accounts for 72% of formal jobs.

The agreement will allow affiliated companies to have alternatives to meet operational, investment, and growth needs, particularly at times when they require capital to respond to new orders, renew assets, or strengthen their productive capacity.

As SMEs represent a fundamental component of Nuevo León's economic activity, due to their contribution to employment and the gross domestic product, as well as their participation in the industry's value chains, timely access to capital constitutes a relevant element for companies to modernize their operations, incorporate technology, develop talent, and take advantage of the opportunities represented by the relocation of investments and their integration into global supply chains.
