More than 7 thousand visitors at Expo SMEs (PYME) Monterrey 2019

With the aim of promoting and strengthening the momentum for entrepreneurs, as well as the development and growth of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), the Chamber of the Transformation Industry of Nuevo León (CAINTRA Nuevo León), carried out the Expo SMEs Monterrey 2019, from the 21st to 23rd of August of this year; in which it was possible to overcome attendance records.

More than 7 thousand visitors attended this important event, which is an effort of the industrial community of Nuevo León and allows us to present in one place the programs and funding that accelerate entrepreneurial projects, as well as linking MSMEs with the offer available public, private and academic solutions that help the improvement, development and competitiveness of companies.

It should be noted that 90 percent of the companies affiliated with CAINTRA Nuevo León are micro, small and medium enterprises.

Guillermo Dillón Montaña, general director of CAINTRA, said that the intention of the Expo is to support and strengthen the strategies and operations of MSMEs, as well as to enrich the structuring or implementation of entrepreneurial ideas through an extensive business-training program.

To achieve the above, experts were linked to the companies participating in the event, through an extensive training program on issues in favor of administrative processes, operation, commercial strategy, continuous improvement and entrepreneurial culture.

The business-training program presented more than 90 renowned speakers, who taught their specialty topics for free.

All this in addition to having important representatives of the federal and state governments, such as: Alfonso Romo, the president’s chief of staff; Margarita Ríos Farjat, Head of the SAT (IRS); Eugenio Nájera, Head of NAFIN (DFI); among others.

Another highlight was the presence of industrial captains such as Álvaro Fernández, General Director of “Grupo Alfa”; Eduardo Garza T. Junco, General Director of FRISA; and Adrián Sada Cueva, General Director of Vitro and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CAINTRA Nuevo León.

In this way, the Expo SMEs Monterrey 2019 becomes the flagship event of Nuevo León and Mexico, with a specialized approach for the SMEs sector, which is of the upmost importance for the growth of Mexico.
