Last Friday, August 2, CAINTRA, through a meeting, joined the rejection of the proposal of the government of Nuevo León to request declaration 3 of 3, an action that is considered unconstitutional, and that, according to an analysis made by the INAI, at least nine Articles of that regulation violate the constitutional principles of the right to privacy.

The meeting was attended by the Commissioner President, Bernardo Sierra Gómez and Commissioners Jorge Alberto Ylizaliturri, María de los Ángeles Guzmán, María Teresa Treviño and Francisco Reynaldo Guajardo of the Transparency and Access to Information Commission of the State of Nuevo León (COTAI).

Different issues were addressed, such as the presentation of the unconstitutionality action 69/2019 presented by the INAI before the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, requeting to declare the invalidity of the Law of Administrative Responsibilities of the State, published by the Executive State on June 7 of this year.

Similarly, the Chamber recognized the decision of the INAI to present the constitutional appeal, as it is considered that they are watching over the rights of individuals who carry out a contractual relationship with the authorities.

Finally, CAINTRA celebrated that both the National Commission of Human Rights and the State’s, will present actions of unconstitutionality against the State Law, of which they will be attentive in case of its evolution.
